Youth RISE Foundation is seeking a detail-oriented Grants Officer to identify funding opportunities, prepare compelling grant proposals, and support the Foundation's fundraising strategy. Working closely with executive leadership and program teams, the Grants Officer will help secure funding that expands programs, strengthens organizational sustainability, and advances our mission of empowering youth and young adults.

We are seeking an experienced Grants Officer to help identify funding opportunities, develop competitive grant proposals, and support the Foundation's long-term fundraising strategy.
OverviewThe Grants Officer is responsible for researching grant opportunities, preparing compelling proposals, managing grant submissions, and supporting post-award reporting. This role works closely with executive leadership and program teams to secure funding that advances the Foundation's mission and strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Research local, state, federal, corporate, and private foundation grant opportunities.
- Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals and letters of inquiry.
- Develop grant budgets in collaboration with leadership.
- Maintain a grants calendar and track Final date to receive applicationss.
- Coordinate supporting documents required for grant submissions.
- Prepare grant reports and monitor reporting requirements.
- Build relationships with grantmakers and funding partners.
- Collaborate with program leadership to develop funding strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Maintain accurate grant records and documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, public administration, business, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in grant writing, fundraising, nonprofit development, or proposal management.
- Strong research, writing, editing, and project management skills.
- Experience preparing successful grant applications is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently.
- Help secure funding that directly supports programs for youth and young adults.
- Work alongside an experienced executive leadership team.
- Contribute to the growth of an innovative national nonprofit.
