The Community Programs Coordinator supports the 49ers Foundation’s direct service programs and community giving initiatives by monitoring program budgets, organizing data, and coordinating beneficiary engagement. The coordinator compiles and analyzes participant survey data to inform program improvements; coordinates engagements in relation to 49ers EDU, 49ers youth football initiatives, Golden Heart and the 49ers Foundation’s legacy nonprofit partners; manages quarterly impact reporting;

and tracks incoming Charitable Giving grant applications. Additionally, the Coordinator supports special projects and events, including the annual beneficiary summit, and contributes to overall program goals and their administrative success.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assists in preparing materials, reports, and presentations to showcase program impact to internal and external stakeholders including executive leadership, funders, Board of Directors and other key stakeholders.
  • Maintains relationship with beneficiaries to foster meaningful connections and organizes the annual beneficiary summit and other special projects for continued alignment.
  • Supports the collection and organization of participant survey data for direct service programs, leveraging insights for program enhancements and opportunities.
  • Supports the tracking and monitoring of direct service, and community giving program budgets, including grant disbursements, and expense tracking.
  • Collect, organize and prepare data for variance analysis and reports to ensure alignment with strategic and financial goals for quarterly reporting.
  • Supports Golden Heart (direct service program) board engagement, meeting coordination and administrative duties.
  • Serve as staff liaison for charitable giving committee by tracking and reviewing incoming grant requests as well as prepares materials for monthly charitable giving committee meeting.
  • Handles program-related procurement, including ordering gear and supplies for events and activities.
  • Actively maintains and grows relationships with program staff, nonprofit partners, executive leadership, funders, and corporate partners.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Abilities and

Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, particularly in data collection and reporting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and suggest improvements to program operations.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
