Dedicated to MBIC’s mission of “initiating and nurturing a growing relationship with Christ,” the Adult Ministry Administrative Assistant provides essential behind-the-scenes support across our adult discipleship, community outreach, and care ministries. This role serves as an organized engine that empowers our leaders and volunteers, ensuring our congregation and local community are welcomed, nurtured, and supported in key moments.
Working directly alongside our Next Steps Director, Associate Pastor, and Care Director, you will help coordinate key ministry programs, classes, and special events. Whether you are managing small group rosters in Planning Center, editing sermon discussion prompts, supporting benevolence efforts like Blessing Manheim, or tracking volunteer clearances, your attention to detail ensures that every ministry area moves forward with excellence.
- Time Commitment: Part-time, 15 hours/week (in-person).
Schedule:
Includes regular weekly hours, with occasional evening or weekend work to support events. - Compensation & Benefits: Salary is based on experience and education. Part-time roles at MBIC also include additional benefits, such as meeting and educational funding.
- Prerequisites: Member (or willing to become a member) of MBIC, alignment with BIC core values and beliefs, and completion of all required clearances (FBI, State Police, and child abuse) prior to the start date.
