We believe the Word of God to be the inspired and infallible breath of God for us as believers. We follow the pattern of the New Testament Church as we see it in the book of Acts and we believe that the Old Testament is useful and profitable as it supports and gives clarity to the truths and writings of the Apostles.

We love all of the Law, the Prophets and the writings of the Apostles, we simply follow the pattern of the NT church as we see it in book of Acts.

Burlington Christian Church is prayerfully seeking a full‑time Preaching Pastor who is filled with the Holy Spirit, grounded in Scripture, and committed to the historic principles of the Restoration Movement. We are a congregation blessed with a strong children’s ministry and vibrant worship ministry, and we are eager to welcome a shepherd who will help lead our church family into its next season of faithful growth.

Burlington Christian Church is located in a fast-growing area of North Carolina and is centrally located between several major cities including Chapel Hill, Durham, Raleigh, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point. The church is physically located within 2 minutes of 2 major NC interstates (I40 and I85).

Qualifications

• A Bible college degree from a Restoration Movement college (or equivalent training consistent with Restoration Movement doctrine).
• A deep conviction in the inspiration and authority of Scripture, fully embracing 2 Timothy 3:16 and living it out in daily ministry.
• A family man who models Christlike character in his home, relationships, and community.
• A preacher and teacher who communicates God’s Word with clarity, passion, and Spirit‑led conviction.
• A servant‑leader committed to unity, discipleship, evangelism, and the mission of Christ’s church.
• Preach and teach the Word faithfully each week.
• Provide spiritual servant leadership, pastoral care, and guidance to the congregation.
• Work collaboratively with our children’s ministry, worship ministry, and elders.
• Help equip the church for outreach, discipleship, and spiritual maturity.
