The Borough of Mont Alto is in Franklin County, which is in
south central Pennsylvania. The population was 1,580 at the 2020 census. The church is
also located near two communities:
Penn National Development and Quincy Village
Retirement Community. Central Baptist Church is a rural church with an average Sunday service size of 25-30 people.

Requirements/

Qualifications:

• Diligence in teaching the Word of God as written in an informative and accessible
  way.
• Ability to communicate with people effectively and comfortably - meet people
  where they are in conversation, meaningfully communicate goals, give words of
  encouragement, and speak the life of the Gospel to those who are searching.
• Deeply rooted in prayer and intercession. Ability to lead a church in an
  understanding of and reliance on prayer personally and corporately.
• Ability to promote spiritual growth in a congregation.
• Ability to create a path for newcomers to become more connected in friendship and
  faith.
• Ability to shepherd children, youth, and young adults and a desire for diversity in the
  congregation.
• Must be a humble leader who can demonstrate a sense of humor, compassion,
  deep friendship, connectedness, and joy.
• Must be capable of interacting, loving, and extending God's grace to individuals with
  cognitive, mental, and physical disabilities.

Minimum Credential Level: Some post-secondary education with a focus on ministry would be preferred, but we as a church are willing to come alongside a successful candidate as they grow in ministry.

Compensation Type:
Salary as well as housing.
