About Us
Speak Up! is a nonprofit committed to fostering honest conversations between teens and adults to build stronger relationships and strengthen emotional well-being. Over the past 26 years, we have reached over 40,000 students and families through school- and community-based programs in the Greater Philadelphia area and New Jersey.
Position OverviewThe Development Coordinator will help Speak Up! build and manage the systems, processes, and donor information needed to support stronger fundraising, stewardship, and long-term growth.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both systems and relationships. In the first phase, the Development Coordinator will focus heavily on donor records, gift processing, acknowledgments, reports, grant deadlines, campaign materials, fundraising calendars, and follow-up tracking. As these systems become stronger, the role is expected to include more opportunities to participate in donor stewardship, cultivation support, events, and selected donor engagement activities.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, comfortable with databases and technology, and able to engage professionally and confidently with donors, Board members, volunteers, and community partners.
