The Wallkill Reformed Church, located in Wallkill, NY is seeking a full-time pastor.

Our growing community is located in the Hudson Valley, surrounded by the lovely Wallkill River and the picturesque Shawangunk mountains, but only about 70 miles north of New York City and 70 miles south of Albany, NYS’s capital. We are a friendly, welcoming, and inclusive church committed to sharing the love of Christ and enriching those around us in our quaint yet expanding hamlet.

Despite our modest congregation, we support many local ministries helping to make a difference to our neighbors. We have a focus on multi-generational relationships and events within the church. While the church has a long history (150+ years), we are receptive to change and transition as we seek to discern God’s will for us and for the world.

We are prayerfully seeking a pastor who will lead us with energy, a positive attitude, and a clear, Spirit-led vision. We hope for a leader who is eager to engage with our congregation and the broader community as we move into the next chapter of our ministry. The ideal candidate is someone who loves God deeply, and cares for people with authenticity and empathy.

We would love someone whose preaching style is passionate and Bible-based, and can present and discuss scripture in an everyday, relatable manner with clarity and wisdom. We seek a pastor who will guide with compassion, lead with vision, and engage folks of all ages and backgrounds.
