Required Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required, plus 3–5 years of relevant experience in program/project management, grant management or compliance, monitoring and reporting, disaster response or capacity development.

Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. for any employer.

Travel: Up to 25% domestic travel.

Estimated Salary Range: $81,300 to $112,590

Domestic HEA Grant Program Manager will build and sustain disaster response readiness across a national network of church partners by ensuring partners have the training, systems, operational processes, ongoing capacity support, and grant-compliant practices necessary to safely and effectively serve as disaster response hubs. Oversee implementation of the grant-funded initiative with primary accountability for grant compliance, monitoring, reporting, outcome tracking, and relationship management across church hubs and supporting partner networks.

Ensure compliance with donor standards, develop tools and systems, support training refreshers and onboarding of new hub workers, and provide capacity building for the duration of the grant-funded project. This position is funded by a high profile foundation for a period of 3 years. Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. • Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, chapel, prayer, worship, devotions, and leadership of devotions); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
• Lead or coordinate project start-up with church partners and other key stakeholders. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Support church partners in sustaining disaster response readiness by coordinating training, onboarding, practical capacity support, and ongoing engagement with church hubs and supporting partners.
  • Ensure staff and partners understand program design, grant requirements, reporting expectations, compliance obligations, and roles and responsibilities needed for successful implementation.
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, budgets, documentation, staffing/consulting needs, and project activities within the approved grant scope.
  • Track tasks, milestones, partner engagement, monitoring data, outcomes, grant reporting, and documentation needed to demonstrate progress against grant requirements.
  • Monitor partner readiness, program progress, compliance status, and outcomes; identify gaps or risks and coordinate practical solutions within the approved grant scope.
  • Communicate outcomes of start-up to the donor or director.
• Manage ongoing implementation through timely, detailed communication with church hubs, internal teams, US Programs leadership, and relevant stakeholders regarding grant progress, compliance status, risks, issues, and successes. Coordinate with appropriate staff and leadership to document promising practices, lessons learned, and progress toward readiness outcomes.   • Maintain regular, positive, and productive communication with church hubs, supporting partners, donor representatives, internal teams, US Programs leadership, and other stakeholders regarding implementation progress, partner support needs, grant requirements, risks, issues, successes, and key updates.
