Georgia Youth Literacy Nonprofit Grant Writer

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving elementary-aged students in Georgia. Our organization provides free literacy programming for children, including a summer literacy camp and school-year after-school tutoring. We are a growing organization with established programming, measurable student outcomes, community/school partnerships, and a strong vision for expansion. We are seeking an experienced freelance grant writer to help expand our grant funding and strengthen our long-term funding pipeline who can help us translate our work and results into competitive funding proposals.

The grant writer may assist with:

Researching and identifying local, state, corporate, foundation, and national grant opportunities aligned with youth literacy, education, academic intervention, summer learning, and underserved students.

Evaluating grant opportunities for organizational fit and competitiveness.

Writing and submitting compelling grant applications, letters of inquiry, proposals, and supporting narratives.

Using existing student achievement and program data to demonstrate measurable impact.

Developing needs statements, program descriptions, goals, objectives, measurable outcomes, sustainability plans, and other common proposal components.

Assisting with grant budgets and budget narratives when needed.

Maintaining a grant calendar/pipeline with deadlines,
