LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Convenient Care

Geisinger Medical Clinic Buckhorn, U.S. (Days shift)

Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week. Clinic open M-F 8:45AM–8:15PM, weekends 7:45AM–6:15PM.

Provide primary clinical support to providers, patients and families. Duties include patient assessment, specimen collection, medication administration, procedure assistance, documentation and ensuring continuity of care.

• Obtain and document patient medical history, chief complaint, vital signs.
• Provide basic medical data to the provider and prepare patients for examinations.
• Assist with minor surgical diagnostic procedures and ancillary examinations.
• Collect and prepare lab specimens and complete related paperwork.
• Conduct ongoing patient communication, prioritize messages for the provider.
• Administer medications and vaccines, including intradermal and skin testing.
• Clean and set up examination and treatment rooms, maintain asepsis and equipment readiness.
• Follow organization policies and procedures and maintain appropriate documentation.

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program–Nursing (Required).
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (Preferred).
• Basic Life Support Certification.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (or equivalent).
