We are recruiting an RN Registered Nurse Charge Med Surg at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital, located in Brooksville, Florida. The role involves providing clinical expertise and leadership in a medical‑surgical environment, ensuring high‑quality, efficient care for all patients.

As Charge Nurse, you will lead the nursing team for the mid‑to‑high acuity medical‑surgical unit, coordinate patient care, manage staffing, and maintain regulatory and safety standards.

• Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of Med/Surg patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records, including posting test and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
• Provide leadership to the nursing team during the designated shift.

• Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse (eligible for compact license, with active FL RN license within 60 days of hire).
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Critical thinking, interpersonal communication, and service excellence skills; ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions; proficiency with PCs.
