Job Title

CNA F/T Weekend Option Days – Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Med/Surg

Job Summary

Performs designated tasks for patients assigned by the RN in charge of patient care. Tasks may include feeding, bathing, oral care, positioning, ambulating and transporting. Performs basic monitoring, including temperature, pulse, respiration, B/P, and I&O. Attends to patient comfort and keeps nurse in charge informed of patient needs and/or changes in condition. Tasks performed in accordance with hospital and nursing policies and procedures as well as legal compliance policies.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Kentucky CNA certification and BLS required.
