Family Nurse Practitioner
In a manner consistent and supportive of our values, the Provider is responsible for delivering high‑quality health care within Fast Pace Health’s scope of services while achieving optimum patient satisfaction. The Provider must be able to work in a team‑oriented environment, be flexible to adapt to new technologies and protocols in a quickly evolving practice setting, and be responsive to changes in condition or treatment.
Responsibilities- Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth and meet patient volume goals for each.
- Lead clinic staff (radiology technologists, nurses, front‑office specialists) in delivering excellent patient care.
- Provide guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction.
- Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
- Ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses.
- Engage with clinical leadership and elevate concerns to management when appropriate to ensure strong patient care.
- Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate daily.
- Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees.
- Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and supervising physicians.
- Analyze and interpret patient histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
- Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations, focusing on patient‑centric care, safety, cost and accuracy.
- Ensure that activities are conducted in compliance with Federal and State regulations, guidelines and requirements, including HIPAA.
- Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment within both clinic and virtual settings.
- Pursue the queue of telehealth patients in a timely fashion to ensure proper follow‑up.
- Order, perform or interpret diagnostic tests and responsibly prescribe medications while educating patients on treatment.
- Attest and follow clinical practice guidelines by the Office of Medical Affairs.
- Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training.
- Perform responsibilities within standard NP protocols.
- Complete all mandatory compliance training to meet and exceed quality standards.
- Adhere to the core values of the company: teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.
- Recommend ideas within the clinic and to telehealth leadership to improve overall patient experience and care.
- Communicate regularly within the team to support excellence in patient care.
- Welcome new employees on their first day in the clinic and facilitate introductions, clinic tours and an overview of clinic processes.
- Assist new employees with learning activities and required training.
- Provide job shadowing, demonstration and coaching opportunities for new employee training.
- Maintain a respectful culture of employee, employer and business confidentiality.
- Consult with patients through virtual communication channels.
- Preferred experience working as a Telehealth Clinician.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- PRN employees are required to work a minimum of four shifts per month.
- Full‑time employees are required to work 12‑hour shifts and every other weekend.
- Ancillary Providers: on‑call periodically throughout the year.
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN).
- At least 1–2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice (urgent care, occupational medical facility, ER, trauma unit, family medical practice).
- Current license and DEA registration must be active, in good standing and verifiable. DEA required for all providers; where limited by state law, DEA will be required within 120 days of meeting the minimum years of practice.
- Providers must be able to treat all ages and meet any credentialing requirements.
- DOT certification required for full‑time and part‑time providers within 120 days of employment and maintained during employment.
