Job Overview
RN PACU Main Surgery – 24 Hours Weekly, Part Time, Night shift. Registered Nurse implements the nursing process for each assigned patient regardless of age and is responsible for delivering quality patient care consistent with the Kentucky Nursing Laws and organizational policies and procedures. The RN promotes positive patient outcomes, participates in unit‑based and hospital shared governance councils, and contributes to a healthy professional practice environment.
The RN utilizes the Nursing Process framework for providing care and collaborates with the inter‑professional team to enhance patient outcomes.
Implement the nursing process for assigned patients, from infants to geriatric. Promote positive outcomes and quality patient care. Participate in unit‑based and hospital shared governance councils. Serve as a role model by actively engaging in continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
Requirements- Active Kentucky RN License
- Previous PACU or Critical Care Experience – Strongly Desired
- BCLS required within 90 days of hire
- ACLS/PALS required within 6 months of hire
