Summary:
Full‑time Registered Nurse for a 36‑hour week on the 2nd shift (11:00AM–11:00PM) in a 44‑bed Emergency Department.
The ED treats more than 150 patients daily, including acute cardiovascular and neurovascular emergencies, general medical emergencies, traumatic injuries, and psychiatric patients.
Key licensing and certifications:
Active Kentucky RN license;
Basic Life Support (BCLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Assessment of patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.
- Develops individualized plans of care following the nursing process.
- Provides patient care in accordance with institutional policy and procedure.
- Evaluates patient response to interventions and adjusts care plans accordingly.
- Exhibits organizational skills to manage multiple patient priorities.
- Demonstrates leadership, critical thinking, and professionalism in a fast‑paced environment.
- Active Kentucky Registered Nurse license.
- Active BCLS certification.
- Active ACLS certification.
- Active PALS certification.
