ER RN - Emergency Department

Summary:

Full‑time Registered Nurse for a 36‑hour week on the 2nd shift (11:00AM–11:00PM) in a 44‑bed Emergency Department.

The ED treats more than 150 patients daily, including acute cardiovascular and neurovascular emergencies, general medical emergencies, traumatic injuries, and psychiatric patients.

Key licensing and certifications:
Active Kentucky RN license;
Basic Life Support (BCLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

• Assessment of patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.
• Develops individualized plans of care following the nursing process.
• Provides patient care in accordance with institutional policy and procedure.
• Evaluates patient response to interventions and adjusts care plans accordingly.
• Exhibits organizational skills to manage multiple patient priorities.
• Demonstrates leadership, critical thinking, and professionalism in a fast‑paced environment.

• Active Kentucky Registered Nurse license.
• Active BCLS certification.
• Active ACLS certification.
• Active PALS certification.
