Position SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in a locally owned and operated nursing home group serving Western Kentucky. Our focus is on providing respectful, attentive care that supports the dignity, comfort, and well‑being of each resident. The CNA plays a key role in assisting residents with daily care needs while maintaining a calm, supportive environment during the shift.
Shift: Dayshift (6 A‑6 P) and Night shift (6 P‑6
A).
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide patient care and support in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting
- Monitor residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning
- Accurately document care provided in the medical record system
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
- Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Kentucky
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or nursing home preferred (but not required)
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
- Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts (including nights if applicable)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
