Job Description

Join a team as an operating room assistant in Jackson, Kentucky, for a 13-week travel contract. In this role, you’ll support surgical teams by preparing and maintaining the operating room environment, assisting with surgical procedures, and ensuring a sterile setting from start to finish. This assignment offers the chance to experience the fast-paced world of surgery, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses during 8‑hour daily shifts Monday through Friday.

Expect to be called upon to fill in on holidays if needed, providing a varied and engaging schedule. Prior OR tech experience of 2‑3 years, along with travel and credentialing through KRMC, is required. Local candidates are not accepted, and payment is contingent on facility billing.
