Job Summary

Registered nurse implements the nursing process for each assigned patient, caring for individuals from infancy to geriatric age groups, and is responsible for patient care consistent with Kentucky Nursing Laws and organizational policies. The nurse promotes positive patient outcomes, initiates change through active participation in unit‑based and hospital shared governance councils, and contributes to a healthy professional practice environment. National Professional Nursing Standards guide the use of critical thinking and clinical reasoning to exercise appropriate nursing judgment and collaborate with the inter‑professional team to enhance patient outcomes.

The nurse serves as a role model by actively participating in continuous professional development and lifelong learning.

• Active Kentucky nursing license.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
