Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

  Required - 1:7
• Independent Model but there to collab if needed
• Cases:
  Endo, ERCP, URO, Ped Dental, ENT (healthy kids), GS, Ortho, OB - No sick peds, pain, hearts or heads
• EMR:
  Meditech
• Credentialing timeframe: 90 days - temps available
• Malpractice provided
• Travel and lodging for eligible candidates

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be board certified
• Active KY License or willing to license

Sign-on bonus available: $10,000 for new grads, up to $20,000 for experienced nurses!

Mercy Hospital Logan County is a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital located in Guthrie, Oklahoma providing care to Observation, Inpatient and Swing patients. Our unit Patient/Nurse ratio is 5:1. Nursing staff work closely with the Therapy department to provide coordinated, excellent care to facilitate the highest level of return to pre-hospitalization lifestyle.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
• Licensure:
  Must personally obtain, and maintain, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Physical requirements/demands:
  Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Other unit specific certifications as required or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.

How you Will make a Difference:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and skilled nursing procedures.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensure comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
• Supervise and direct nursing assistants and medication aides during the assigned shift in accordance with facility policies and regulations, as applicable.
• Monitor and observe residents’ physical and emotional status; notify the attending physician and responsible party of any change in condition.
• Develop, implement, and review individualized resident care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation per facility policy and procedure.
• Coordinate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges according to established procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance activities, staff education, and regulatory surveys as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or designee.

What you Need to make a Difference:

• Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Minimum one (1) year of clinical nursing experience; long‑term care experience, preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role, preferred.
