Key Responsibilities- The Nurse Manager provides leadership in working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
- The Nurse Manager maintains clinical skills and acts as both a clinical leader and resource nurse, as well as, administrative leader, assuming 24-hour responsibility for the unit.
- This position will be responsible for overseeing daily nursing practice in an assigned department to ensure that safe and appropriate care is provided.
- The Nurse Manager will collaborate actively with medical, administrative, and interdisciplinary leadership to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree (BSN)
- Active RN license in state of practice
- 5 years’ experience as a nurse
- 3 years’ experience in a nursing leadership position
- Critical care experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 1 year of pediatric experience
- 1 year experience in clinical research
- Burn and wound care experience
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
