Role Overview
The Family Nurse Practitioner provides high-quality healthcare in both clinical and virtual settings, ensuring patient satisfaction and adherence to protocols. They lead clinic staff, review patient histories, perform diagnostics, prescribe medications, and deliver patient-centered care while maintaining compliance with regulations such as HIPAA.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver excellent care in clinic and telehealth, meeting patient volume goals.
- Lead and guide clinic staff to ensure professional service and patient satisfaction.
- Review medical histories, diagnose, and develop treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients.
- Maintain accurate patient charts and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Engage in team communication, participate in training, and support new employee onboarding.
- Contribute ideas to improve patient experience and uphold core values like teamwork and quality care.
- Perform on-call duties as required, with flexibility for shifts and weekends.
Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN), active license and DEA, with 1-2 years of relevant healthcare experience preferred. Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments, adapt to new technologies, and communicate effectively via virtual channels. Experience in urgent care, occupational medicine, ER, or family practice is desirable. DOT certification must be obtained within 120 days if applicable.
