Interventional Pain Management at Ortho Virginia focuses on providing advanced, minimally invasive pain relief procedures to help patients manage chronic pain and improve their quality of life.

Our goal is to help our patients return to their daily activities quickly and safely. As a Registered Nurse in the Pain Management Suite at Ortho Virginia, you will play a vital role in providing advanced, non-surgical pain relief options to help patients manage chronic pain and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with a team of dedicated pain management specialists to deliver personalized care tailored to each patient's unique needs.
Duties:
- Patient Check-In and Preparation:
Review medical records, check vital signs, and administer intravenous (IV) fluids or medications as needed. - During Procedures:
Monitor patients' vital signs, administer sedation, and ensure patient safety. Assist with spinal injections and other interventional pain management procedures. - Post-Procedure Care:
Observe and monitor patients as they recover from sedation, ensuring stable vital signs and providing necessary care and support. - Critical Thinking and Communication:
Quickly identify and address any complications or issues during procedures and communicate effectively with the medical team to ensure patient safety. - Patient
Education:
Educate patients about their procedures and post-procedure care, providing instructions on managing pain and any follow-up care needed.
- Completion of BSN or ADN program;
Registered Nursing License - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- At least 2 years of relative experience required.
- Proficiency in monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms.
- Previous experience in administering and monitoring moderate sedation.
INDOP1 Compensation Range for this position: $38.85 - $58.27. Compensation for this role will be based on several factors, including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, geography/market, and internal equity considerations.
