Signature HealthCARE is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to support clinical leadership in our long-term care and post-acute facility. In this on-site role, you will supervise and mentor nursing staff, oversee daily clinical operations, and ensure person-centered, high-quality care for residents. Responsibilities include staffing, care planning, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. You will help foster our faith-based, mission-driven culture of compassion, dignity, teamwork, and continuous improvement while supporting surveys, audits, and staff development.

Responsibilities

  • Support Director of Nursing in overseeing daily clinical operations in a long-term care and post-acute setting
  • Supervise, coach, and schedule nursing staff to ensure safe staffing and high-quality resident care
  • Monitor clinical outcomes, care plans, and documentation for accuracy, compliance, and person-centered focus
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate rehabilitation, therapy, and support services
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and facility regulations, policies, and nursing standards
  • Lead quality improvement, infection prevention, and risk management initiatives
  • Participate in staff hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and ongoing training
  • Engage residents and families, addressing concerns and promoting dignity, respect, and satisfaction
  • Support faith-based, mission-driven culture, modeling compassion, teamwork, and servant leadership
  • Assist with surveys, audits, and reporting, and help implement corrective action plans
