Licensed Practical Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to incarcerated patients including assessments, treatments, and medication administration
• Document patient care accurately in EHR per facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physicians, mental health professionals, and custody staff to coordinate care plans
• Respond to medical emergencies and perform triage within the correctional setting
• Educate patients on health maintenance, medications, and chronic disease management
• Maintain infection control, safety, and security procedures at all times
• Support a collaborative, team-based environment aligned with facility policies
