Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to incarcerated patients, including assessments, treatments, and medication administration
• Document care accurately in EMR and maintain compliance with facility and state regulations
• Collaborate with physicians, mental health professionals, and custody staff on care plans
• Respond to emergencies and perform triage within the correctional setting
• Educate patients on health conditions, medications, and preventive care
• Support a safe, compassionate, and respectful clinical environment
