Licensed Practical Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to incarcerated patients, including assessments and treatments
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and facility protocols
• Monitor, document, and report changes in patient status in EHR systems
• Support chronic disease management, wound care, and emergency response
• Collaborate with physicians, mental health, and dental providers to coordinate care
• Educate patients on health, hygiene, and medication adherence
• Maintain infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance within the facility
• Participate in team meetings, quality improvement, and ongoing training
