As a School Nurse, you'll play an essential role in ensuring students are healthy, safe, and ready to learn by partnering with educators, families, and healthcare providers to deliver high-quality care.

• Provide direct nursing care, first aid, and emergency medical response for students and staff.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and district policies.
• Develop and maintain Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs), Emergency Action Plans (EAPs), and other student health documentation.
• Monitor students with chronic and acute medical conditions and communicate with families and healthcare providers as needed.
• Conduct health assessments, screenings, and maintain accurate student health records.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, special education teams, and parents to promote student health and academic success.
• Participate in IEP, 504, and multidisciplinary team meetings when appropriate.
• Promote health education, wellness initiatives, and disease prevention throughout the school community.

• Active Minnesota Registered Nurse license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Previous pediatric, school nursing, public health, or community health experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, organization, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with students, families, and school staff.
