We're proud to offer a fulfilling career opportunity as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Allure of Sterling, a skilled nursing and healthcare center in Sterling, Illinois. As a CNA, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents while promoting their health, safety, comfort, and dignity.
Position SummaryAs a CNA, you'll assist residents with daily living activities, provide personal care, and respond to their needs in a supportive and caring environment. You'll work closely with our interdisciplinary care team to deliver exceptional care that meets the unique needs of each resident.
Shifts available- Nights: 6:00 pm - 6:00 am
- Assist residents with meals, feeding, hydration, and nourishment between meals
- Provide personal hygiene care, including bathing, grooming, toileting, showers, and incontinence care
- Assist with ambulation, transfers, turning, and positioning
- Monitor and record vital signs, weights, intake, and output as assigned
- Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests
- Observe residents and report changes in condition to the nursing supervisor
- Document care accurately using required forms, reports, and records
- Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
- Follow professional standards, facility policies, and all federal, state, and local regulations
- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Illinois
- Current CPR Certification required
- Long-term care experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
