Location: Northern
West Texas Centers is seeking a highly motivated Nurse Practitioner (APRN/PA) to provide integrated physical health services to children, adolescents, and adults receiving behavioral health and/or IDD services. This position offers a competitive salary of $165,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package, including a health plan, paid holidays, generous personal time off, employee assistance program, and more.

Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive initial and periodic physical health evaluations.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Prescribe and manage medications using evidence-based guidelines and patient
preferences. - Order, review, and monitor laboratory tests, screenings, and diagnostic studies.
- Provide chronic disease management and routine outpatient primary care.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
- Monitor medication effectiveness, side effects, and potential drug interactions, including
interactions with psychiatric medications. - Coordinate physical health services with behavioral health and IDD treatment teams.
- Provide referrals to specialists and community resources as appropriate.
- Provide patient education and promote shared decision-making.
- Provide clinical consultation and leadership to interdisciplinary treatment teams.
- Participate in treatment team meetings and high-risk case reviews.
- Provide trauma-informed, respectful, and patient-centered care.
- Deliver services in person and through approved telehealth technology.
- Maintain timely and accurate medical records and required documentation.
- Collaborate with the assigned physician supervisor and follow WTC policies, procedures,
and formulary requirements. - Assist with physical health emergencies and provide consultation to staff as needed.
- Current Texas Nurse Practitioner (APRN) license or applicable PA licensure.
- Current Texas Registered Nurse/APRN license for Nurse Practitioner candidates.
- Must have and maintain a Valid Driver's License and driving record that is acceptable for
insurability through our insurance carrier. - Must pass background check and drug screening.
