The Montefiore Associate Administrative Nurse Manager (AANM) maintains standards of the practice for nursing as defined by the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice and Nursing's Social Policy Statement.

• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of a specialized nursing unit(s) in collaboration with the Administrative Nurse Manager (ANM).
• The AANM directs and coordinates patient and unit activities in an environment that supports excellence, ensuring the continual delivery of quality patient care, in compliance with MMC policies and standards.
• Assists the interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care of select group of patients; participates in educational activities related to the clinical specialty; participates in clinical research studies.

• BSN Required, MSN Preferred.
• 1-3 years' Clinical experience. 2+ years in related area required.
• Effective management skills necessary to organize, direct and evaluate the activities of nursing and hospital personnel.
• Analytical skills necessary for problem solving and clinical decision making.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Adapts well to change.
• Proficient with customer service principles.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Registered Nurse New York Required.
• BLS Required.
