Banner Fort Collins Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse – PACU to join our dynamic Surgical Services team. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering safe, high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative experience. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the broader surgical team to ensure optimal outcomes for every patient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after surgical procedures
  • Serve as the patient advocate throughout the perioperative process
  • Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient care activities
  • Communicate effectively with the surgical team, patients, and families
  • Adhere to all infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Float to the Loveland Campus OR as operationally needed
Required Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Colorado (or compact state eligibility)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required or must obtain within a defined timeframe
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Operating Room experience strongly preferred
  • CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) certification preferred
  • Experience with a variety of surgical specialties

POSITION SUMMARY
