The Certified Nursing Assistant delivers hands-on personal care, assists with routine activities of daily living, and monitors vital signs under the direction of an RN or LPN in hospital, assisted living, or home health environments.
Assist patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and nutritional intake. Measure and record vital signs, height, weight, and intake/output (I&O). Turn and reposition bedridden patients to maintain skin integrity, and assist with ambulation and transfers. Respond promptly to call lights and report observed behavioral or physical changes to the charge nurse. Keep patient rooms tidy, change bed linens, and restock direct care supplies.
Whatwe’re looking for
- Education:
High school diploma or GED; completion of a Maryland Board of Nursing-approved CNA training program. - Licensure:
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from the Maryland Board of Nursing. - Background Check:
Clear criminal background check and fingerprinting as mandated by COMAR and MBON.
