Join our dynamic team as a Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) at College Medical Center Phoenix, where you will provide compassionate, age-appropriate care to children and adolescents in a behavioral health setting. You will conduct patient assessments, implement individualized care plans, administer medications, monitor patient safety, and collaborate with families and the interdisciplinary treatment team to support each patient’s physical, emotional, and behavioral health needs.

• New Grads are welcome to apply
• A Level One Fingerprint Card is required
• Current RN license and AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers required upon hire
• CPI Certification required within 30 days of hire
• Knowledge of pediatric growth and development principles and age-appropriate patient care
• Ability to assess patient needs and respond appropriately to physical, emotional, and behavioral changes
• Understanding of nursing documentation standards, policies, and procedures

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document findings
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans with the multidisciplinary team
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions
• Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and behavioral management per facility protocols
• Monitor and document patients’ physical, emotional, and behavioral status
• Educate and communicate with patients, parents, guardians, and caregivers regarding treatment and continuing care
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment
• Participate in shift reports and interdisciplinary team meetings
• Adhere to infection control and patient safety guidelines at all times

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CMC Phoenix roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that CMC Phoenix in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
