## Overview Position Type Full Time Job Shift Days & Weekends

Category MED/SURG## Description
12-hour accountability for nursing services provided on assigned unit(s).
They will have responsibility of overseeing care and services provided by Licensed Practical Nursing and Certified Nurses Aid staff.  They may have Charge Nurse responsibilities for the unit in which they are scheduled to work.

* Reports to:

** Chief Nursing Officer
** Supervises:
** No direct reports.  Clinically supervises Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nurse Aids.
** Shift / Work Hours**:  7A- 7P AND/OR 7P-7A.  Some weekend work may be scheduled.  Must be willing to work holidays as scheduled.## Qualifications
** Licensure / Certification / Registration:
** Must have current, active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Kentucky or collaborative state or current work permit issued by the Kentucky Board of Nursing.  Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support are required.

* Education:

** Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing
*
* Experience:

** Any length of experience in medical/surgical nursing area/s or new RN graduate.
