Registered Nurse

The primary role of a registered nurse is to assist the physician in taking care of a patient and providing them with appropriate treatment in various medical settings. Specifically, the duties and responsibilities of an RN—registered nurse—are the following:

• Implements the physician’s orders
• Administer medication and treatments
• Assess and evaluate the patient’s needs and responses to the given care.
• Monitor, record, and report the patient’s condition or health status
• Observing reactions or side effects of the treatment or medication
• Perform diagnostic tests
• Administers IV therapy
• Modify patient’s health treatment plans as indicated by the patient’s condition and responses
• Deliver primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses

For all interested applicants, you must comply with the following prerequisites:

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in nursing
• California Board of Registered Nursing Passer
• Current, valid, and unrestricted Registered Nurse license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing
• American Heart Association BLS/CPR
• ACLS certified
• Basic computer skills
• Must present a professional and positive attitude towards career
