Part of this is the breadth of career options for nurses at Banner Health.  The Cath Lab at Banner Estrella supports many Interventional Cardiologists and Interventional Radiology that perform inpatient/outpatient diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath and radiology. The facility currently offers 4 procedural labs and are preparing to begin structural heart interventions.  

Bring your previous experience as a Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology Nurse to this key role at Banner Estrella. Orientation and onboarding to this highly technical and specialized department is provided by an experienced Cath Lab RN preceptor.

Your assignment will include circulating Lab cases, monitoring Lab cases, and working throughout the Medical Imaging department. You will also help with an occasional electrophysiology procedure, TEE’s, Cardioversions, stress testing, pacemaker/ICD’s, nephrostomy tube placements, tunneled line placement and removals, feeding tube placement, port cath placement and removals, embolization, and fistulograms. This is a position for a combined lab so we do both procedures and will train the candidate in anything they are unfamiliar with.
