Location: District wide - Elementary and Secondary level

Flat Hourly Pay RN: $29.93/hr

Flat Hourly Pay LPN: $21.06/hr

Hours: Substitutes are needed during student school hours and days. However, there is opportunities for additional hours. Effective with the start of the  school year.

Must be able to work independently. Follow up on immunizations not in compliance, by contacting doctors and parents as needed. Input and scan student health records and medical documentation into Sapphire. Assessment of injury, illness and administration of medications. Some computer work is necessary. Relay any medical conditions and changes to the Certified School Nurse.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current certification in Basic First Aid and CPR/AED.
• Valid PA Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Valid PA Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
• Pre-employment requirements as designated by the PA School Code
• Valid PA Driver's license and /or access to independent transportation

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift/carry supplies up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, twist, and kneel.
• Ability to use hands for grasping and manipulating objects.
• Visual and auditory acuity.
• School setting, including offices, hallways and school grounds
• Potential for exposure to common childhood illnesses.
