A LPN/LPNwho excels in this role:

• Contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis.
• Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care. May administer medication. Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, documents, and communicates patient's status and reactions to interventions with physician, patient, and families.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Schedules appointments and procedures as ordered by the provider.
• Obtains insurance re-authorizations as requested for testing and scheduled procedures.

Attends clinic meetings. Maintains a clean and safe working environment. Reports all incidents, hazards, drug interactions, and initiate appropriate action. Completes safety instructional programs. Assists other team members when time permits.

Applicants should have a current state LPN/LVN license and possess an Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  Knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT codes, insurance benefits and healthcare backgrounds preferred.
