Location: Northern
An immediate opportunity is available for experienced Operating Room Registered Nurses seeking a contract role in a dynamic surgical environment. This position accommodates two travel RNs for a 13-week assignment, supporting critical orthopedic, trauma, and robotic cases in a fast-paced perioperative setting.
Schedule/Hours:
- 3x12 hour fixed shifts
- Option 1:
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday – 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM - Option 2:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday – 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM - Call required (includes weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays)
- Valid, unrestricted California RN license
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience, including at least one year with Level I or II trauma centers
- Prior travel RN experience (1 year minimum)
- Demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic, trauma, and robotic procedures
- Completion of a skills checklist at submission
- Circulate and scrub on diverse surgical cases, with an emphasis on trauma, orthopedics, and robotics
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to deliver expert perioperative support
- Adhere to strict safety, documentation, and infection control protocols
- Respond to call requirements, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Maintain a high level of clinical readiness for urgent and emergent surgical cases
