Our PANU team provides specialized pre-operative and post-anesthesia care for adult and pediatric surgical patients undergoing a wide range of procedures. Nurses work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, CRNAs, perioperative staff, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality care throughout the surgical experience.

This per diem opportunity offers experienced nurses the chance to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment supporting the region's only Level I Trauma Center while maintaining scheduling flexibility. You'll collaborate with a highly skilled team dedicated to clinical excellence, patient safety, and outstanding patient outcomes.  ##
** The Registered Nurse (RN) Will:
*** Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for pre-operative and post-anesthesia patients.
* Provide comprehensive patient assessments and monitor patients recovering from anesthesia.
* Prepare patients and families for surgical procedures through education and clinical evaluation.
* Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition using sound clinical judgment.
* Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary team members.
* Ensure safe patient transitions throughout the perioperative continuum of care.
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
* Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and an exceptional patient experience.  ##
