Schedule:

36 hours per week, Night Shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating every other weekend and observed holiday

As a Registered Nurse at Henry Ford Health, you will provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care. You will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensuring patients and their families receive the support they need. Your role is vital in fostering effective communication within the healthcare team and driving solutions to meet patient goals.

• Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and their families.
• Communicate pertinent patient/family information effectively to the healthcare team.
• Participate in finding and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted

• BSN preferred.

Henry Ford St John Hospital’s 5 North Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit is a 36 bed, medical surgical stepdown unit specializing in the care of patients with chest pain, arrhythmias and heart failure. The majority of our patients are admitted via our Emergency Department and have an average stay of about 5 days. We partner closely with the Cardiac Cath Lab for pre and postoperative care.

Our nurses have an average patient ratio of 3-4:1, and the support of Registered Nurse Leadership, RNs, and Patient Care Technicians.
