Resident Care Manager; RN-DON

The Resident Care Manager team member assist with ensuring the healthand well-being of our residents by being responsible for the overall staffing, staff training and development, and management of personnel in the Resident Care Department. The Resident Care Manager also is responsible for the overall quality of care assessment, planning,documentation and provision of services to residents.

• Ability to participate in facility on-call program which may include working at facility during off hours.
• Reliable transportation for on-call program required.
• Ability to verbally communicate well with residents, families, andstaff members
• Ability to read and understand task assignments, ability to report verbally and provide written documentation as required.
• Display of genuine concern for the elderly; a dependable, patient and compassionate attitude towards residents. Demeanor always respectful of residents' rights and wishes.
• Ability to cooperate and maintain respectful treatment with others. Sense of responsibility, maturity, diplomacy, and ability towork well with residents, families, and other staff members.

• Credentials of a Registered Professional Nurse with a current
  
  State license required.
• At least two years of supervisory nursing experience and additional training and experience commensurate with the size of the facility and responsibilities of the position required.
• Geriatric nursing training or experience in structured living arrangements for seniors preferred.
• Possession of a baccalaureate degree in nursing or administration preferred.
