Medical Surgical Nurse (MS) located in Marquette, Michigan. This role involves providing care to adult patients (18 years and older) on a Medical Surgical Floor within a 225-bed specialty care hospital. The nurse will deliver high-quality observation and ongoing care, ensuring patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced environment that requires adaptability and clinical excellence.

• Schedule:
  
  Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  RN license with required certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale Competency, and Tele/ECG Competency; 1 year of med/surg experience;
  Michigan State License.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Telemetry experience, the ability to work in adult observation units, and experience with patients presenting with chest pain, asthma exacerbations, TIA, abdominal pain, urinary issues, blood sugar issues, DVT/PE, cellulitis, post-procedural monitoring, or minor trauma.
• Additional Information:
  Candidates must be 60 miles or greater from the organization for consideration. This position may require float to Medical, Cardiac, or Neuro-Ortho units, and adherence to the dress code of galaxy blue scrubs. Urgent commitment to attendance and professional conduct standards is essential, with expectations around shift make-up for absences.
