Position:
Weekend On-Call Nurse

Location:Fargo, ND
Schedule:Weekend on-call coverage
Reports to:Director of Nursing

Weekend On-Call Schedule

• Friday afternoon through Monday morning
  , beginning when the office closes Friday at 12:00 PM and continuing until the office opens Monday at 8:00 AM
• Available by phone to respond to patient, caregiver, and staff needs
• Available to respond in person to complete a nurse visit within 1 hour of call in Fargo and surrounding areas
• Responsible for addressing urgent clinical concerns and coordinating appropriate care

What You’ll Do

• Provide professional clinical support and guidance to patients, families, and caregivers
• Respond promptly and appropriately to after-hours calls
• Assess patient concerns and determine appropriate interventions
• Assist with urgent staffing and scheduling issues when necessary
• Document all clinical communication and interventions accurately
• Follow agency policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
• Help ensure continuity of quality patient care outside normal office hours

What We’re Looking For

• Current
  RN License in North Dakota
• Home health or healthcare experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to remain calm and professional in urgent situations
• Comfortable working independently and making sound clinical decisions
