- 1. Maintains knowledge and adheres to NOBLE NURSING HEALTHCARE SERVICES policies, procedures and standards.
- 2. Maintains knowledge and adhere to client's rights and responsibilities.
- 3. Provide nursing care in accordance to plan of care established by the physician and RN for each client.
- 4. Performs client assessments.
- 5. Observes and notes any changes in client's condition and reports any changes to the Registered nurse, Director of nursing, Physician or case manager.
- 6. Prepares equipment and materials for treatments using aseptic or sterile techniques as required.
- 7. Assist the client with activities of daily living and learning appropriate self-care techniques.
- 8. Initiates physician contact or receives physician's verbal orders in a routine situation in accordance with the state practice act for practical nurses.
- 9. Transcribes written physician orders into medication administration records.
- 10. Updates care plan accordingly under the direction of a registered nurse.
- 11. Attends case conferences and in-service education programs.
- 12. Maintain knowledge and skill in the care and treatments of client population i.e. a) Gastrostomy tube care (GT) b) Nasogastric Tubes care (NGT) c) Identification of respiratory complications. d) Nursing judgments and measures; e) Ventilator maintenance. f) In & out catherization. g) Colostomy care. h) Wound care. i) Care of insulin and non-insulin dependent clients. j) Care of tracheotomy patients.
k) Controlled substances. l) Medication profile-administration documentation, errors and adverse reactions.
