RN - Registered Nurse - 4617 (Night)
Job Details:- Night shift position in a rehabilitation and critical care setting
- 13-week assignment
- Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care utilizing the nursing process of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
- Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants, providing direction, training, and delegation as appropriate
- Provide patient information and status updates for Initial Team Conferences and weekly Re-evaluation Team Conferences
- Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely in the medical record
- Initiate discharge planning from the day of admission and provide patient and family teaching
- Communicate pertinent information regarding changes in patient status to attending physicians and Charge Nurses
- Participate in the patient rehabilitation program on an assigned unit
- Assume charge nurse responsibility following orientation period as requested
- Adhere to hospital guidelines outlining standards of personal appearance, attendance, and punctuality
- Minimum two years of bedside clinical experience required
- Recent ICU experience highly desired
- Active Tennessee nursing license required
- BLS certification required prior to first shift
- ACLS required prior to first shift (CIRH only)
