Position: Nurse Injector / Aesthetic Nurse
Compensation: Hourly and Commissions

North Valley Med Spa is seeking a professional, motivated, and team-oriented Nurse Injector to join our Flagstaff location. This position is responsible for providing safe, high-quality aesthetic and wellness treatments while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

The ideal candidate is confident in patient education, consultations, treatment planning and clinical procedures and understands that excellent patient care extends beyond performing treatments. Our Nurse Injectors work collaboratively with the entire team to support patient retention, clinic growth, safety, cleanliness, and daily operations.

• Perform neurotoxin treatments.
• Perform dermal filler treatments, including lips, cheeks, facial balancing, and other approved treatment areas.
• Conduct comprehensive aesthetic consultations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Educate patients regarding realistic expectations, risks, benefits, alternatives, pre-treatment preparation, and aftercare.
• Assess patients for contraindications and determine appropriate candidacy for treatment.
• Recognize, manage, and appropriately elevate potential complications or adverse reactions.

• Perform medical weight loss consultations and patient assessments according to established protocols and provider orders.
• Educate patients regarding prescribed weight-management programs, medication administration, follow-up requirements, and lifestyle recommendations.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate concerns or changes to the appropriate medical provider.
• Administer approved medications and injections within the nurse's scope of practice and established medical protocols.

• Establish IV access and safely administer IV vitamin and hydration therapies according to provider orders and clinic protocols.
• Administer approved IM vitamin injections and other wellness therapies.
• Monitor patients throughout treatment and respond appropriately to adverse reactions.
• Maintain proper infection-control and medication-safety practices.

• Conduct thorough new-patient and existing-patient consultations.
• Review health history, medications, allergies, previous treatments, and treatment goals.
• Create customized treatment plans based on patient needs and appropriate clinical recommendations.
• Educate rather than oversell, helping patients understand appropriate treatment options and long-term maintenance plans.
• Provide professional follow-up and assist with patient questions or concerns following treatment.
• Build strong patient relationships that encourage retention, referrals, and long-term care.

• Complete accurate and timely charting in Aesthetic Record EMR

• Obtain appropriate treatment consents and required photographs before procedures.
• Document products, dosages, lot numbers, injection sites, treatment settings, patient responses, and other required clinical information.
• Follow HIPAA requirements and maintain strict patient confidentiality.
• Follow North Valley Med Spa policies, procedures, standing orders, medical protocols, and Arizona nursing regulations.
• Maintain current nursing licensure and all certifications required for the position.
• Participate in chart reviews, training, competency assessments, and continuing education as required.
