** Requirements
* ** Graduate of an accredited
** Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
** program* Board-certified as an
** NP or PA
*** Eligible for licensure in the state of Michigan
* Prior experience in oncology, women’s health, or surgical specialties preferred
* Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
** Duties & Responsibilities
** A typical day may include:
* Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care for patients with gynecologic cancers, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning
* Conduct pre-operative and post-operative assessments and follow-up visits
* Manage symptoms and treatment-related side effects, including chemotherapy and supportive care (in collaboration with physicians)
* Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging
* Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborative care planning
* Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and ongoing care needs
* Coordinate care across specialties, including medical oncology, radiation oncology, and supportive services
* Support quality improvement and clinical initiatives within the practice
* Perform other clinical duties as needed to support the practice and patient population
* Review and manage chemotherapy and biotherapy treatment plans based on current guidelines (e.g., NCCN).
* Complete pre?treatment assessments and clearance for chemotherapy.
