** What You’ll Be Doing
** As an LVT in our ER, you’ll be hands-on with advanced, meaningful medicine every shift, including:
* Placement of IV catheters
* Monitoring anesthesia and patient vitals on critically ill patients
* Drawing blood and running diagnostics
* Critical thinking in fast-paced emergency situations
* Administering and monitoring blood transfusions
* Managing feeding tubes and critically ill patients
* Performing accurate medical math and medication calculations
** What We’re Looking For
*** Active
** License
* * for
** Veterinary Technician
** in the state of Michigan
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an LVT or minimum of 5 years as a veterinary assistant if newly licensed
* Comfortable and confident in-patient care and customer service
* Strong attention to detail and excellent medical math skills
* Calm under pressure with a team-first mindset
* Willingness to rotate
