Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire a full-time Medical Director. This full-service animal hospital provides high-quality veterinary care for cats, dogs, large animals, and avian and exotic species. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to lead a diverse practice while continuing to deliver exceptional patient care across a varied caseload.
Role Description and ResponsibilitiesThis role encompasses the full scope of Medical Director responsibilities, combining clinical leadership with the delivery of high-quality veterinary care. You will lead by example, maintaining the highest standards of patient care and client service while supporting the continued success of the hospital. Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you will provide preventative, medical, and surgical care across a diverse range of species, manage a varied caseload, and work closely with clients to develop comprehensive diagnostic and treatment plans.
You will also promote collaboration within the clinical team while driving excellence in patient care and fostering a positive working environment. Specific working hours will be discussed further. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian.
The practice provides the full scope of General Practice services alongside Urgent Care, offering a varied caseload across cats, dogs, large animals, and avian and exotic species. The hospital is equipped with, but not limited to, an In-House Laboratory, Digital Radiography, Dental Radiography, and Ultrasound, supporting advanced diagnostics and patient care. Facilities include an In-House Pharmacy. In addition to its core veterinary services, the practice also provides cold laser therapy.
The hospital is open Monday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday closed, Wednesday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
You will be joining a team of 1 DVM, supported by a passionate and highly experienced team of certified technicians, veterinary assistants, and client service representatives. - Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
Salary up to $160,000 (Annual)
- Competitive Base Salary up to $160k
